Anfield Rout Seals Progress
Liverpool have marched into the final eight of the Europa League with a ruthless 6-1 dismantling of a woeful Sparta Prague at Anfield. The Reds, who have not lost a game in seven matches, took the lead in the first half through Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino and never looked back. Sadio Mane and Daniel Sturridge added to the lead in the second half, before Divock Origi and Coutinho rounded off the scoring in the closing stages.
Dominant Display
Liverpool were in complete control from the outset, dictating the tempo of the game and creating numerous chances. Sparta Prague were simply outclassed and offered little resistance, as Liverpool's attacking players ran riot. Coutinho was particularly impressive, scoring two goals and creating several more. Firmino, Mane, and Sturridge also played well, with all three getting on the scoresheet.
Seventh Straight Win
This victory was Liverpool's seventh straight win in all competitions and will give them a huge boost ahead of Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester City. The Reds are now just three points behind leaders Chelsea and will be confident of challenging for the title.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for his players after the game. "It was a fantastic performance," he said. "We were in control from the start and never looked back. The players were excellent and deserve all the credit."
