Blackstenius hat-trick helps Gunners through
Stina Blackstenius scored a first-half hat-trick as Arsenal beat Aston Villa 4-1 to secure their place in the Womens League Cup final.
The Gunners took the lead inside 10 minutes when Blackstenius tapped home from close range after a cross from the left by Frida Maanum.
The Swedish striker doubled her tally just five minutes later, heading in a corner from Katie McCabe.
Blackstenius completed her hat-trick in the 25th minute, finishing off a fine move involving McCabe and Maanum.
Aston Villa pulled a goal back in the second half through Rachel Daly, but Arsenal held on to secure their place in the final, where they will face Chelsea.
