The latest Nintendo DS game to get an anti-piracy measure is Animal Crossing Wild World. When you try to start a new town with an invalid save file the game will end and return to the main menu. It seems Nintendo is cracking down on the piracy scene as of late with this new measure, which prevents those who do not own a valid copy of the game from playing the game.
