Chelsea Women 2-0 West Ham: Sam Kerr scores first of season as Blues top Women's Super League

Blues maintain their unbeaten start to the season as Kerr scores first goal in three games

Chelsea Women made it two wins in four days to go joint top of the Women's Super League table but had to come from behind to beat West Ham 2-0 at Kingsmeadow on Sunday.

After a goalless first half, Sam Kerr broke the deadlock in the 65th minute when she finished off a cross from Jess Carter.

Erin Cuthbert then sealed the victory in the 88th minute with a fine solo effort.

The win moves Chelsea top of the WSL table on goal difference, level on points with Manchester United.
