A Dazzling Wedding and Family Life

In 1973, Princess Anne married Captain Mark Phillips, an Olympic equestrian. The couple had two children together, Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall. The marriage ended in divorce in 1992. In 2011, Princess Anne married Timothy Laurence, a retired Royal Navy officer.

Grandchildren of the Queen

As the eldest grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II, Peter Phillips holds a special place in the royal line of succession. He attended Gordonstoun School in Scotland and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst before serving as an officer in the Royal Marines. Zara Tindall is an accomplished equestrian who won a silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics and a gold medal at the 2016 Rio Olympics. She married Mike Tindall, a former rugby player, in 2011.
