Werder Bremen 0-5 Bayern Munich: Harry Kane becomes top scoring English player in Bundesliga history
Bayern Munich ran riot at the Weserstadion as they thumped Werder Bremen 5-0 to move back to the top of the Bundesliga table.
Harry Kane was the star of the show for the visitors, scoring twice to take his tally for the season to 15 and become the highest-scoring English player in Bundesliga history.
Bayern Munich dominated from the start and took the lead in the 10th minute when Serge Gnabry fired home from close range.
The visitors doubled their lead 10 minutes later when Thomas Muller headed in from a Joshua Kimmich cross.
It was 3-0 just before half-time when Kane scored his first goal of the game, finishing off a fine team move.
Bayern continued to press after the break and Kane made it 4-0 in the 60th minute with a superb strike from the edge of the area.
The rout was completed in the 75th minute when Jamal Musiala added a fifth for Bayern.
The win takes Bayern back to the top of the Bundesliga table, two points ahead of Union Berlin.
Harry Kane's brace takes him to the top of the Bundesliga scoring charts, with 15 goals in 18 appearances.
